Who we are
voidlabs.games is run by VOID LABS, a trade name of WILHELM SWEDEN AB, Sweden. WILHELM SWEDEN AB is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@voidlabs.games.
The short version
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies.
- If you sign up for news, we keep your email address and a record of your consent, and nothing else.
- You can unsubscribe with one click in any email, and ask us to delete everything.
Newsletter ("Apply for a contract")
When you sign up, we store your email address, when you gave consent, which version of the consent text you saw, which page you signed up on, and when you confirmed or unsubscribed. We use it only to email you news about VOID LABS and its games. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
We use double opt-in: nothing is sent to you until you confirm through the link in our first email. Addresses that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. When you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, so it never gets emailed again by mistake. Ask us if you'd rather it be erased completely.
We never sell or share your address. It is only handled by the service providers below, on our behalf.
Bot and abuse protection
The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile checks signals from your browser; it does not use cookies to track you. To stop floods of signups, we also count submissions per IP address for one hour, using a keyed, one-way hash of the address, never the address itself. Those counters are deleted within 48 hours. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and free of abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Hosting and logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver pages, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. Short-lived error and request logs are kept for up to 7 days to fix problems.
Videos and sound
The trailer plays from our own servers. Once it is on YouTube, the player may come from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube (Google) receives data only after you press play. The VOIDCORP page remembers whether you turned the announcer's sound on, in your browser's local storage. That setting never leaves your device.
Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, database, email sending and bot protection. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU/EEA, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you. You can also object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@voidlabs.games and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the data protection authority where you live.
